The Scale Is Just A Number

So I'm up .6 this week after being down .6 last week AND .6 the week before, but I have to remember the scale is just a number and it is not the complete picture of my weight loss journey. I feel healthy, fantastic, and on my way to looking great. I do look at myself naked often and I am not happy yet, but I am leaps and bounds ahead of where I was a few months ago. Wearing clothes is a different story, and my friends and family would tell you I shouldn't lose any more weight, but I still have a BMI of 26.1 and am 8 lbs. over the healthy recommended maximum weight for my age and height.

I had three very bad eating days last week, but four good ones, and I know if I work on my calorie consumption-I will continue to lose. My workouts continue to be great at 5-6 times a week and I'm even going to work on working out twice a day up to 3 times a week for awhile because I do have the time and it can help offset my overeating.

I took a few pictures of me before the baseball game last night (sans makeup by the way); A few months ago, I would never have worn a close fitting shirt like that, tucked it in, and such short-shorts.
